Lotusphere 2008: Day 0: Pool Party
Posted by Theo Heselmans on January 20th, 2008
For me the Sunday evening 'Pool Party' (they've been calling it 'Welcome Reception' for a couple of years now, but I prefer the old casual name), is the real start of Lotusphere. A relax get-together, meeting old friends and new people, shivering (it was rather cold again this year, but not as bad as 3 years ago) while eating (pretty good this year) and drinking (the Cab. Sauv. was OK).
Some guys recognized me and said hello.
I had some pictures taken and want to share them:
Edward Rabinovich is a great guy from Ernst & Young, and a big Notes advocate. I really enjoyed his company. | Nathan T. Freeman told me he's got some incredible stuff to show. So check out the Lotus+911 booth. | Kevin Pettitt, the Lotus Guru, is a nice fellow to talk with, and he convinced me to come to his session! |
Alan Lepofski: proud to be a Lotus Blogger Awards Finalist, and rightly so, as he has made lot of end-users happy with his practical tips. | Bruce Elgort, as always in a good mood. Is doing a couple of sessions. One with Kevin and one with Chris Blatnick. I'm looking forward to both. |
Do you notice that we enjoyed ourselves ?
Looking forward to meet more co-bloggers,
and eager to see what Lotus has in store for us tomorrow !
