I’m definitely not an administrator :-(

Isn't a community like this just too good to be true ?
After upgrading my server to 8.5 last week, it crashed regularly.
I never had problems before when upgrading, but this drove me crazy.
Thanks to (a very patient) Ulrich who figured out that it was an IMAP issue, I manage to get it in a better shape.
To give you an idea of how good bad my administration skills are:
To get the Domino server to restart automatically, I changed some settings in the Windows 2003 Domino service.
Ulrich showed me that there a section on the Basic tab of the Server Document: 'Automatic Server Recovery'. You can even have it send Fault Notifications.
But there are reasons for being such a lousy administrator
(even though I did pass the basic Admin exam, some years ago):
- I've never had problems with a Domino server before, so there was no real need to learn more than installing it and creating users
- I'm not really interested in administration, servers or networking: it should just work
- I rather like to concentrate on being creative ;-)
There is a session at LS that I probably should go to:
BP202 Administration for the Developer: Build and Secure Your Own IBM Lotus Domino Server Playground in an Hour!
